In October 1999 Smart Group Recruitment Solutions won the account with Westwind Air Bearings who manufacture air-bearing spindles for the semiconductor industry.

Smart Group Recruitment Solutions have supplied up to 180, skilled and semi-skilled engineering personnel, who work a three shift system, earlies, lates and nights, seven days a week, within three individual manufacturing locations.
